All work and no play....

Yes, I have been very busy with shootings. But it will all end soon. My last scene will be this week, hopefully. And afterwards is a few weeks off relaxing mode with beloved family.
My mom and dad just got back from London and I cant wait to see them. (no not because I cant wait to see what handbag my mom got me and my sister), I actually miss them very very much. But yes, I cant wait to see what goodies they have brought back from London...hehehehe

My sister came with M to DnA Celebrity style yesterday. I had shoot till about 12 pm. So we met there, since I haven't seen them for almost 2 weeks now. And I was missing M very very much.
At first, when M saw me, she didn't recognize me as I had full "shooting make up" on. So I had to make my normal voice when I speak to her, a very high pitch laughing voice. And within 2 seconds, she held out her hands to gesture me to carry her.
Oh what a bliss that felt like.
Nothing like a baby asking you to carry them. Wonderful feeling!

My Selebpets

Yes, we are a group of friends who are in the blackberry gang. We update each other, we talk, chat and sometimes meet up for makan makan together. When I told my sister about it, she was like "whats Selepets?" well, to put it in words, its actually "celebrity pets". You know, pets as in cats/dogs - those loveable animals you have in your home... So there, now you know what we do on our free time....
the next question is...who are these girls?

Well, there's Serena C, Daphne Iking,Yasmin Hani, Atilia Harun, Sazzy Fallak, Aishah Sinclair and myself.

Cooking...

My family has birthday gathering every 3 months for the extended families etc. We normally do the bday thing for those that celebrates the bday in the 3 months. So today, we had Sept, Oct and Nov bday celebration, which included my sister's and my mom's bday. As a speacial treat, I (with the help of my BFF Lyana) we made lasagne. Home made, (I made it with my sister inlaw before today so, I sort of still remembers what to put in when).

We raided my sister's kitchen at 3 pm. I brought with me the ingredients, and we managed to cook it by 7 pm. But since we were in a rush, my brother inlaw helped with the cleaning up afterwards while we went ahead to my parents house for the party.

The result? Well, I forgot to pick up the cake, managed to ask my cousin Didi to get the cake for me. Secondly, the first lasagne was not "hard enough" at the top, but it was already cooked, so we were not that worried (ok, thats a lie, MY SISTER was not that worried, I was very worried).
Thankfully, everyone said it was YUMMY....
PHEW...

How sad

When will Beyonce' announce replacement concert? I was so excited when I heard she was coming. One of my best friend purchased us the tickets, we had all the plans ready to party, and then it was cancelled.

sigh....

Finally

Her fist excuse was - "Oh, I'm soooooo busy with work, and at weekends I have to sort out the house"

Her Second excuse was- "Oh, I'm pregnant, so I don't want to buy any clothes yet since I will be "fat" for 9 months"

Her third excuse was- "I'm so busy with the baby, and I'm still "fat"...promise I will go soon"

Her fourth excuse was- "Ive started work so I don't have time on weekdays and at weekends I want to spend all my precious time with the baby"

And then she ran out of excuses.

And finally, she came to my shop, with her friend, and it was a long lunch or them (they were working despite everyone else was still on raya week leave)

She bought 3 tops, 1 high waisted pants and 1 big funky belt.

Her friend ended with a pair of shoes, a top and a vest.

They left happily ever after...

Personal updates: Had a great Bukapuasa session with my family for my mom's birthday last Friday. Little Myiesha was such a doll, fell asleep on my dad's shoulders. She let her mama and daddy ate in piece. But she always does anyway.
Saw a few friends there, the food was okay, but scattered a bit far away from each other. Music was good, but they need to replenish on the drinks more, because it finishes very fast. And we had to wait for a long time to get the teh tarik.

Location: Holiday Inn Glenmarrie.

We got my mom Sunglasses, and she loved them. PHEW.

Better be safe then sorry...

A few tips on protecting yourself from Swine Flu (H1N1 Virus)

1) Never leave home without wet wipes (baby wipes) or waterless hand sanitizers products (I use the kids one from Guardian). Dettol does it too.


2) Carry (or wear) a mask.

3) Gargle with Listerine twice a day

4) Drink hot water- Ive heard that this will help if you have any of the germs in your throat, it will help carry it down to your stomach, whereby the germs is not able to react. (don't quote me on this, its just something I heard lah)

5) Hydrate yourself with drinking plenty of fluids (water is best)

6) Take your vitamins

7) Eat healthy vegetables and fruits.

8) Stop smoking....

When I was waiting for my sister to open the gates, Myiesha (pronounced as My-Ee-Sha) gave me the biggest smile a baby can give...

Swine Flu

Since H1N1 or better known as Swine Flu is on a rapid rise now, I think a lot of people are becoming more paranoid. I have to share this particular incident with you all, as I fell into the category of paranoid.

During the Shout awards, we (Daphne Iking, Sazzy Falak and myself) were seated in front of someone who was suspected to have contracted H1N1 virus. When we received the phone call the next day, the three of us decided we should all visit the doctor together. Since we were all seated next to each other. (We have fun together, we get sick together)...
So there we were, the three of us, at Sungai Buloh hospital. We waited for about 2 hours before we were called to see the doctor.

Doctor: What can I do for you ladies?
I cant remember who answered, one of us did anyway: We need to check if we have H1N1
Doctor: Do you have fever?
Us: No
Doctor: Selesema? (runny nose)
Us: No
Doctor: Caugh?
Us: No
Doctor: Then why are you here? (he said this with a smile)
Someone said: Well, you see doc, there was someone who sat behind us was found positive with the virus.
Doctor: I see..Okay, we will do a blood pressure check and I'll see if I hear any problems with your lungs and check your throats okay?

We nodded.

Sazzy went first as she was seated in the patient seat (the one next to the doctor). Daphne and I was seated at the mommies and daddies seat (the one opposite the doctor).
After checking Sazzy, the doctor said "next"...

Daphne stood up, and sat on the table for the doctor to check her.
(It was like a scene in a Hollywood Romantic Movie).
We all burst out laughing, the doctor went red. He simply said "I think you better sit here" (pointing at Sazzy's seat)
She (Daphne)'s automatic reaction to sit on the table was due to her blur-ness because we were there for so long (we even didn't know what to say to each other anymore- it was that long! hahahaha)and I admit, I was also already very blur by the time the doctor called us in.

But, the doctor really made us smile.... All he said was "you girls made my day.."

He was really sweet. Anyway, all three of us are clear from the virus. They didn't do a blood test because we didn't have any of the symptoms. But, it was worth the visit, coz, like I said, I was paranoid too! :)

By the way, we will start shooting "Di Bawah Ketiak Isteri" season 2 very soon. Im looking forward to that one, since I had so much fun with the cast in the 1st season...It will be aired on Astro, like before...Stay tuned for that one!

Family Affair...

We were at Sepang last Saturday for the 1000km race to support:

1) husband
2) brother
3) brother in law (My sister's husband)
4) my sister's husband's cousins

they were all driving, husband was for R3 proton team. Brother and brother in law was in the same team, driving a yellow Gen2, which finished 10th in class! They were at 53 on grid start...
My brother in law's cousins were driving a white toyota, they represent the "Kazzen" team... Unfortunately, they did not finish the race.

I guess when there is a Race, it would be a family affair, as my dad used to be a rally driver (in the 80's), so he is always there to support racing safely in sepang or race track. The only reason why my sister did not drive for this race is because she just gave birth 2 months back. If not, I can only assume she will be the 4th driver with her husband and my brother...hahaha

Do not "rempit" on normal roads, it is not safe, it is not cool. You are only being a safety hazard for yourself and other road users.

Speculations...

There's been a few speculations here and there about why and HOW i lost my Emma Malisa...Truth is, Allah (s.w.t) loves her more, which is why she was taken away from me. There's a reason why we malays say "Ada Hikmah disebalik nye" and why Westerners say "There's a silver lining in between".
I am being strong to believe in the hikmah or the silver lining...

But here and there, people are saying I lost her because of the sexy clothes I wear.....if wearing sexy causes miscarriage, then it is acceptable for one to judge me by saying it...But there is no scientific and medical link to say that the clothes you wear will make your baby suffocate, heart stop, distorted etc...

The reason why people in the years before wear loose dresses, its because that was the ONLY option you have...You either get it long sleeved, short sleeved, three quarter sleeve or sleeveless...But its still the above ankle, below knee dress with a ribbon to tie behind your waist...

Anyway, here's a few links to what we wear will not cause baby's discomfort whatsoever...It may cause discomfort for me, but it certainly wont cause a miscarriage...

I would like to thank all my fans for supporting me. I am sorry I did not manage to attend the ceremony, but rest assured, those that supported me, my fans, family and friends are all in my thoughts, always. I would also like to say thank u to my beloved husband for his support in my career.

What really happened...

Its sad to read all the gossips in the forum about how I lost my precious baby, Emma Malisa... I'm going to tell you the real story here, and I hope no one will spread rumors about the tragedy after this...

I had premature labour contractions. When I went to the hospital, they confirmed that my baby didn't have a heartbeat anymore, therefore I was on emergency labour which they induced me, and Aruah Emma Malisa was born and kebumikan on Friday 9th March. She was 6 and 1/2 months.

Therefore, the stories about my husband beat me up lah, or I fell lah, which made me miscarriage are ALL NOT TRUE.

My husband and I are both devastated with our lost. Not forgetting my family too...

I hope with this post, no one will write nonsense about how I lost my precious Emma...

So I thought it would be a quiet night for my birthday. Since EVERYONE seems to be busy and out of town. But, it ended up to be a very-the-best night... we had my close friends over with us for dinner in Sunway. Everyone had a good time, i should think so. The food was nice, the ambiance was great, the companion was even better! :)

A year wiser...

So I will be a year older this Sunday... I used to get real excited about birthdays, because my mom would throw really fantastic parties for me... When I was very very young, like 3-6 (before school days), I remember my birthday would fall during puasa and raya. And we would be at my grandma's house, my relatives would sing and all and I was very sad that no one could eat during the day (when it was puasa time).
Then when I was in primary school, I would send out invites to my friends for the party, and my sister would have the fun and games session. We would give out presents for the winners (and most of the time, I would be one of the winner because Im such a sore looser) hahahaha

And then I remember once, this was a few years ago, when my sister just came back from England from her studies, (I think it was 2001), it was my 18th birthday, my sister sent out an invite for a surprise party (which didnt end up to be a surprise because some of my friends could not keep shush). Anyway, she had a photo of me during early secondary school (I must have been 13) with HUGE glasses and very nerdy looking on the invitation card and email...Sent to everyone!!! At first I thought it was so mean of her to do it :(, but later I realised, it was all sent to my closest friends and my relatives, so they all knew me how I looked then anyway. And I'm sure my sister didnt do it to hurt me, in fact now, when she reminded me about it, I feel loved by my family...hehehehe (thats what siblings are for, I guess)..
My sister, her close friends and my close friends, decorated the house with balloons, ribbons, the pool had floating candles, there were candles everywhere by the entrance, the tables etc..It was very nice....
And they had my favourite cake... :)

This year, I don't think I will be celebrating big. I will take it easy. Maybe a quiet romantic dinner with hubby...
Ive already got some presents from some friends. My sister, brother in law and brother have given me their presents. And I love them all!!!

Yes, should have done this ages ago. Like my sister did in her blog...But as you all know, Ive been so busy multi tasking alot of things, so the scanned fotos of my baby has been kept safely in my wallet. Until my husband decided we should definitely scan it and keep in in soft copy...

I couldn't really get this picture, it was amazing to see the little green pea like inside my stomach. But because it was just like a green pea, I still could not imagine the baby inside my womb...

And then, at our next check up, I got a little bit more exited. Coz we heard the fast heartbeat. And when the doctor showed the spine, I was so amazed to imagine that that's actually in my womb...

Obviously at 17 weeks, the active baby has changed position. We could trace the shape of the spine, also heard the fast heartbeat. I cannot wait to see the gender....
hehehehe

Tummy...

Some have requested a foto of my pregnant tummy... I actually did a photoshoot with Erra Fazrira last week. She being more pregnant then I am didnt really have to stick out her already cute protruding tummy...Where as I, being still 1st going on 2nd trimester, really had to to pout my tummy out...
Anyway, I got my sister to take a more "natural" photo of me during CNY. So here it is...

To those who asked me if I am expecting a baby in my previous post, the answer is "yes...I am expecting"...

My sister's baby shower...

My sister's friend organised a baby shower for her. It was so much fun to see old people playing games. Yes, I say old because they are much older then me..hehehehe
BUT, they have not changed a bit. I know most of them, as they were my sister's school friends. From the greatest school of all....ASSUNTA!! hehehehe

Here's a picture of the gila Assuntarians. 2nd and 3rd from the left was my sister's friend since like she was 7. They are sisters, the younger one was 5 when she got to know my sister. That makes it....hmm, I knew them since I was 1 then! wow! basically since I was born!

I always have a soft spot for baby boys...Here's me being so geram with Baby A, who is another one of my sister's good good friend's son. We used to car pool to school. So we were very close, which is why i think she didn't mind me doing this to her son...(Sorry Kak Misha, hope you don't mind...But your son is so damn adorable!)

What did I get her? Since she's like bag crazy, I got her this cute PINK diaper bag from Pepe. SHE LOVES IT... I know because she sms me last night saying how much she loves it...And I'm glad...hehe

I met up with my family yesterday, as both my Parents are back from their Haj. Alhamdullillah, they are both well, except for daddy has a slight cough. Despite the fact that he is coughing and he looks like Osama with his beard and full on red faced due to the sunburn, he still manages to make his silly jokes with us. Which Im glad to hear, because that means he is well. Mommy's the same, she is just full with her experiences and her stories, which kept my aunties busy...

I was just telling my sister, brother and my close cousin, shasha, that I realised there has been a few shops which took up the opportunity to use my name (though some with different spelling). Ok, maybe there are other dynas or dynaz or dinas's in town, but, they are all mushrooming up lately. What a coincidence.

When Awal and I had our Bazaar at the Bazaar Ramadhan in Curve, someone asked me if I had and outlet in Shah Alam. Apparently, they used the same banner and posters of Awal and I for the bazaar in Shah Alam. I never managed to go and have a look, as I was quite busy with my own bazaar then. I should have, coz I would love to meet these people that pretended to be part of our shop to sell their baju's....(I dont really mind, but it would be nice to be informed well in advanced, if you kow what I mean)...
I also found out yesterday, that I recently opened a Kopitiam in Shah Alam. Or some sort of kedai kopi lah. Its spelt differently to my name, but a few have asked if it was mine. Sorry guys, its not me. I guess there must be other dynas's in Section 9 Shah Alam....
At the moment, the only business Ive ventured into is the DnA Celebrity Style, which Awal and I are very busy with. So....I will let you guys know if in the future I decide to get into something else like kedai kopi or kedai baby or something like that lah yeah?
